How the matching works. Every entry carries dates: when the claim was in circulation, roughly how long it stayed in mainstream classrooms, and the year the correction actually landed. If the correction came after you left, it goes in the first pile. If it landed before you left but the textbooks kept it anyway, it goes in the second. If there was never any evidence for it at all, it goes in the third. Anything that had not been invented yet in your school years is left out entirely — nobody taught the class of 1962 how many Pokémon there are.
The dates are approximate. Curricula vary by country, state and school. “Taught until” is a fair-estimate midpoint, not a decree. Source links are starting points, not the whole literature.
Nothing you tap leaves this page. The list is baked into the file. No accounts, no tracking, no network calls.
